How about pipe? I guess this qualifies as "other steel shapes or plates", but it seems different enough to note it. How much tube went from the NE to the oil fields of Texas and Oklahoma?

Which brings up another question...What was a typical length of pipe? I seem to recall images of this load in 40' and longer gondolas.
