Speaking of which, has anyone seen a good roof shot of C&O 4500-4999? Larry Smith said they had Murphy roofs, not Vikings, but I've never seen proof either way.
I don't have a "good roof shot," Tim, but I do have a mid-60s side view of C&O 4788 in which the roof is unmistakably rectangular panel, not Viking.
