If the REQUIREMENT was all that was omitted, Tim, why was there an order in force to REMOVE them from older cars when shopped?

I've never heard of a rule banning cars based on location of the brake wheel.
Neither have I, but then again, I don't model the 1960s. If someone knows more about this, please tell us.
