SHPX, yes, several hundred cars. Frontenac, NO, NO, NO! Let's not let
this error, understandable though it is, get into any further
circulation than it already has. New cars built by AC&F were stenciled
for Frontenac of Canada and for Nacionales de Mexico – there are
builder's photos showing this – but the Feds intervened before the cars
were delivered and they were reassigned and restenciled for Shippers
Car Line. So they never left AC&F's Milton plant with Frontenac or N
de M stenciling.
