"I have never seen a car go it the rip track for a knuckle. The train crews always replaced it. Other wise you have to chain it up to get it to the rip track. Thank you Larry Jackman"
Larry is correct. The crews did knuckle replacement and it wasn't usually a problem with the knuckle so much as it was problem with the knuckle pin.
