The BT model will represent the AC&F welded-side cars, series REX

6100-6599,

built in 1947 and early 1948. This model will also represent the ACL
3000-3049 series. The Walthers model will (reportedly) represent

riveted-side

cars built by General American, series 6900-7399 (built 1955) and

7400-7899

(built 1957). Information and photos of these cars and many other express
refrigerator cars will be presented in the forthcoming Railway Prototype
Cyclopedia Vol. 7, planned for release this spring. Page layout work is
ongoing with printing planned next month. Details to follow as the

printing

completion date nears.
