The recent discussion of Wabash single sheath box cars got me to thinking about one I photographed in the gravel pit at Wolcottville, Indiana in 1974. A second look revealed that it has been resided with sheet metal like some on other roads. I loaded the image in the file section. Was this a common practice with these box cars on the Wabash and when did they reside them?
