The reporting marks are PBMX. These were the reporting marks for Peet Brothers Manufacturing Company and used from 8/1920 until 7/1923.

Subject: [STMFC] Tank Cars unloading Molasses In New Orleans

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me what road/reporting marks these tank cars
have/represent?

It is a photo form the Louisiana State archives entitled "Unloading
molasses at the New Orleans Louisiana harbor in the 1930s "

here is the Link

http://louisdl.louislibraries.org/cdm4/item_viewer.php?
CISOROOT=/LWP&CISOPTR=4008&CISOBOX=1&REC=11

or go to the Louisana archives at

http://louisdl.louislibraries.org/collections.php

and type molasses into the search engine, it is photo number 11.

thanks for your help in advance

MATT
