Thanks Tony. I was *assuming* a box car, as I wouldn't expect clay to be in a covered hopper, especially before the 1952 abandonment date, and wouldn't expect to see clay hauled in a gondola or open top hopper.

Mark, in normal usage, a "high car" was just a house car. So I'd
assume this was a box car, possibly with bulk clay to be shoveled out,
but maybe more likely with sacked clay.
