I didn't see a response but I thought the 60000 series Erie cars were
reefers. I haven't any ORER's old enough to check. Looking into some other
sources, hope to let you know tomorrow.

Here are the DS/SS/Steel splits for the Erie and the Wabash for
January 1945, April 1949 and July 1950, for box and auto cars in
interchange service.

have 36' 0" IL and 8' 0" IH, nominal capacity 60000 lbs. Does anyone
know if they were double sheathed?
