I have placed into files a very interesting and warming letter from Rick Steele, a UP engineer from Cheyenne who is the current owner of LaBelle models, the long time venerable maker of very fine wood craft kits modeling turn of 19th C./early 20th C. freight and passenger cars, including traction and HOn3. I love these models, and I enjoy more building them. That it is a seeming healthy business is reassuring in this day where one might think that the craft kit had all but disappeared like the snow in the mid-day sun.
