Scanning through my book of L&N RR diagrams, it looks like
the L&N series 18000-18499 may resemble this prototype. This
series was built by Pullman Standard in 1937. The diagram shows
plate ends and a 11 panel roof like the Atlas body style 2.
Can anyone here confirm or deny that the L&N series was a
1932 ARA car?
The sill tabs appear to match but the L&N diagram shows a small
step at the eaves. The L&N car has 31'2 and 3/4" truck pivot spacing
and 14' 0 and 1/2" extreme height.
