For what this is worth, in talking with Steve Funaro in Anaheim last Sunday, he said that he is converting everything to one piece body castings, and updating many kits. I have a couple VGN Battleship gons and he made a point of showing the new updated version to me and it did look much better. The finished kits that were on display did look VERY good. As a general rule I am NOT a resin kit modeler, but they did look awfully good.
