So I gather there is no proof that the early build lots that were delivered with wooden walks and vertical brake staffs, were converted/updated to the newer components?
Dave, Photos documenting the cars during the 1950s are hard to find, and from the photos I have I cannot say with any degree of certainty if they were upgraded or not. Perhaps others having 1950s photos of the cars can help. Regards, Ed Hawkins
