Mark, You can count on all the most common Superior hand wheels to have a "scalloped" outer rim, whether 22" diameter for vertical hand brakes or 16" outer rim for horizontal hand brakes. That held true until 1958 or a bit later when all the hand brake manufacturers adopted the forged (stamped) hand wheel. Gene Green
