I've never heard that the Cookie Box cars were captive... They
were assigned to Keebler in Denver, but I don't know why they
would only travel on the home road. Anyone know for sure?

Besides D&RGW, who had a car like that (10'4", 12p, 4/5 end)?
I'd love to see a resin kit for the D&RGW cars -- many of which
were used for the famous Cookie Box cars.
Weren't those captive service cars?
