Bob, there are several in-service photos of these cars from the late
1930s in my Focus on Freight Cars Vol. II, which went to the
publisher (Speedwitch Media) a couple of years ago but still hasn't
appeared in print. Ted now says it will be out in time for
Naperville at the end of October, but he said that in 2007 and 2008,
so I'm not holding my breath. I'll send some scans to you off-list
(I have some other photos of them as well that aren't in the book).
