Does anyone have the specific wording and effective date for the minimum length of cabooses to be used in interchange service in Ohio that effectively banded 4-wheel bobbers cabeese?
Was it measured at the inside of end-ddor sill plates?
I've scaled a 17' 4" inside length of car on the C&O "new" early 1900's cabooses.
The C&O had Road Cabooses and Conductor's cars. I don't know for sure which wer the 4-wheel and the 8-wheel versions.
I know we talked about this on "the old list" . . . . sorry.
