Take a look at www.modelexpo-online.com/product.asp?ITEMNO=KTD04C. Model Expo is offering a set of 1-7/8-inch-long number drill bits in even-numbered sizes from 52-74. I haven't purchased these myself, yet, but they look like they could be useful for drilling horizontally through HO underframes.
