The diagram lists the trucks for ERIE 11000-11149 and ERIE
11350-11599 as Cast Steel Double Truss, AAR coil 1915 design. From
the description and the photo, would Eastern Car Works 9053, 90-ton
Bettendorf friction bearing, be a good match?

No. The prototype trucks were 70 ton AAR self-aligning spring-
plankless double truss. Probably the best representation of these
trucks in HO is the Atlas 70 ton plain bearing truck used under their
models of the Hart Selective 70 ton ballast hoppers.

The diagram indicates an Apex Tri-Lock Metal Brake Step. Would this
be the open-grid type as seen on boxcars, or some sort of metal
plate with round holes in it?
