"Disingenuous"? If and when I do operate at clubs, I am respectful of the equipment (in fact have been known to volunteer to fix cars that need repair or are GLARINGLY unweathered). And I don't bring my own equipment to those clubs, not even my older upgraded Athearn stuff. Is that somehow "elitist" or do you recommend that I attempt to reach the lowest common denominator of modeling and equipment handling to show how egalitarian I am? Or are you just blowing a little smoke?
I have no quarrel with those who have the stamina, energy and thick skin to continue to be active in clubs. I've been there and don't want to do that any more.
