Not really. Many railroads bought small numbers of 50 foot
steel box cars before the war. And there were far more single
sheathed wood (and even steel) automobile & furniture 50 footers
built prior to 1937. Very few models of any of them have been
produced in HO scale. The reason probably is that the cars were
relatively rare. I'm sure if someone did good masters for any
of the 1937-style 50 footers, they could make a reasonably
popular resin kit.
