I will if you send what you have or some good copy. I figured your interest would be the Iowa one but did notice some mention of "Jersy Gold" on the MS sheet which would put it closer to O&W country if that referred to New Jersey.

Jerry, Yes, I never thought of a connection between the two. I do not know how many plants Wescott & WInks had. The only one I know of was in Summner, Iowa, served by the Chicago Great Western. Whether there were other plants elsewhere I don't know. Are you going to make a Westcott & Winks decal? Tom

Sorry - you're right. I put the illustration up but haven't added them to the list. HO version is $4.50 + $.50 postage.

Paul – The 1501 kit had correct spacing of side braces but the cross bearers were incorrect (as were all the original Fowler kits). I don’t remember when we revised it but for sure if it has the Elk Grove Village address it’s an original. – Al Westerfield

Kit 1503 and other Fowlers that we did many years ago had incorrect spacing of the side braces. When we revised the CPR version they were judged not good enough sellers to warrant re-issuing. - Al Westerfield

Re: new decals
Thomas Baker
Clark,
You had better luck than I with Micro-Scale decals. I had an S-scale set of Micro-Scale for a Wescott & WInks refrigerator car. True, I had purchased the decals a few years ago. I put one segment after another into the water only to see them disintegrate. Not very far into theprocess I stopped and managed to salvage enough for one side. I hope I can use that side to make a copy onto decal copy paper. Tom ________________________________________ From: STMFC@... I'm decaling a CB&Q 35000 series box car with Micro Scale decals. I have a RMJ with a photo, plus the CBQHS bullitin on those style box cars. I still managed to put the first slogan on the wrong side of the car! And applied a coat of Mircosol. It was when I was going to apply the second dose of Micrsol that I niticed the screw up. I was able to flood the area with water and lift the slogan up with the tip of my knife blade. I transferred the decal to my dish of water to straighten it out then poured it onto the other side of the car. Whew! Clark Propst --- In STMFC@..., Gerald Glow <jerryglow@...> wrote:
