It's astounding that this comes to light on the very day I wrap up changing a dozen Walthers Proto T-Section Bettendorf trucks from sprung to rigid. Kadee also has these listed with the code 88 semi-scale wheel sets. I look forward to installing some of these new HGC versions on the upcoming Accurail 36-foot box cars. Eric Hansmann El Paso, TX

Model Paint Bottle Cap problems
Same cap problems exists for all Floquil Polly S acrylics as for lacquer based paints.
Needed: Air tight and self cleaning bottle caps for Floquil, Model Master lacquer and acrylic paints. I know a lot of people including myself have huge numbers of Floquil and Polly S in their paint lockers/shelves but I understand it is mostly a discontinued product so I would wonder about the investment return on such a product. ken adams

TERRY WEGMANN PFE R-30-18 REFER KITS
WILLIAM PARDIE
There has been a flurry of references to Terry Wegmann's R-30-18 refer kits lately. Terry was an excellent pattern maker and super modeler as well as a treasured friend.
As he released his refer kits under the P.F.E (Pacific Freight Enterprised) label I bought a bunch from him. I set them aside and they remained there as I bought the assembled models from Intermountain. I have three kits that I am putting out for bid. I have never sold anything and have no interest in becoming a vendor. I will take bids through monday 9/12/2016 at 8:00 PM PST. I will take checks and estimate about $3.00 for postage. Learning from auto auctions I will place a $25.00 reserve on the kits. The kits will go to the three highest bidders. These kits have never been opened and still have Terry's sealing tape on the boxes. I hope that they will go to someone who will appreciate and build these kits. My E-Mail is psrdiew001@.... Thanks: Bill Pardie

I do not have the lists (sorry), but would add that Steve Funaro told me he cast all of Yankee Clippers kits including the PRR GSH, PRR X31A (both of which I built), and PRR X31A roofless coke car, under an arrangement that ended somewhat abruptly. Also, the YC PRR GSH and the F&C GSH I bought (at least) were not exactly the same kit. The YC castings were thicker early dark yellow resin, and the F&C thinner later lighter yellow resin castings. Both had similar quality decals and instructions. The PRR X31A roofless coke car was NEVER offered by F&C. Elden Gatwood
