Rail Dates Information

I found, rummaging around in my files, part of a copy of a supplement to RMC from 1979. It lists significant dates for many changes in railroad locomotive and freight car standards. But for some reason, I only have copies of two pages, and it’s incomplete. The freight car information ends about 1927.
If someone has a copy (pdf?) of this that’s complete, I’d like to have it.
But what I’d really like is a similar document with the significant dates like this that might be more comprehensive. I started one for myself a long time ago, but that seems to have disappeared.
What set me looking for this was wanting to know the dates when AB brakes came into existence, and the later-than-that date when K brakes were outlawed in interchange. Yes, I know, that outlaw date was frequently flouted, but still, I’d like to know when the rule called for no more K brakes.

This is probably well known, but not to me: is there a “standard” axle length that fits all Tahoe trucks?
Who supplies the best matched wheelsets for these trucks? Preferring .088” treads, of course.

The doors used were cut down from the auxiliary doors from the X28A so they should be a little taller than the X29.

These are somewhat similar to the CRECo doors. There is a prototype photo of this door in RPCyc #24, p38.

At some time in the last 29 years I acquired one lettered for SP. Still unbuilt but I was impressed by the tight but still discernible siding planks. Versions are still being flogged around as special run convention cars for NMRA regional conventions. The latest, I understand, is as a PE car for the 2020 Pacific Southwest Region meet (which is now cancelled.) So I guess there is still life in those dies. -- Ken Adams

Thank you Dennis. I was about to ask why in the world 95% of the cars in a Milwaukee Rd. yard wereNYC cars!!?? I do realize that Jack Delano spent a vast amount of time in the Chicago - Milwaukee area as he did also here in Vermont filming the dairy industry and owing to the fact that supervisor summered nearby on Caspian Lake in Greensboro which was also the home of a lesser known railroad horseshoe curve. Todd and Friends, If you have a Mac you will find that the machine compresses the thumbnail title. The information is still there, but represented by ellipses. You can, of course, read it by right clicking on the title or photo; the whole title will appear in the menu that opens after a right click. Perhaps a better possibility is to right click the photo and then choose 'GET INFO' from the menu. There is a comments box on the info screen which will allow you to add save a whole bunch of stuff. I just did a test, and the information in the comments box is retained if you duplicate the photo.
