Allen,

It's Ghost White Toner, so any supported color laser printer will work.  I happen to have an HP Color Laser Jet Pro M352dw.  But I just replace the black toner cartridge with one from Ghost White.

The company is German, and I paid overseas shipping for mine at the time, but now they have a US distributor.  Look for that if you go this route.

Between the information on Ed Hawkins' spreadsheets and the text description of the kits on the Kadee website, you should be able to correlate the two as there really isn't that much variety amongst the kits (3 40 ft cars, 2 50 ft cars with non-cushion underframes, and 4 50 ft cars with cushion underframes).

Unlike the old Branchline undecorated boxcar kits, these kits only come with one running board and hand brake option, so you'll have to shop around to get what you need if it's not already in the box.

Try checking out Appalachian Railroad Modeling and contact the owner Dan Bourque. He models Southern and is good about responding to questions. It may take him a day or two due to work.

I concur with the continuance of the Kingan brand. If you will recall a few weeks ago I sent the group a list of Western Pacific customers from 1957, and Kinghan was still listed in San Francisco at 4th & Townsend Streets (actually via interchange with the Southern Pacific).

Plus I’ve determined I need Cudahy and Swift cars from the coming Rapido release.
