The car is one of the ex-Clinchfield slightly-taller Gla copies in TP&W 431-490. The metadata gives a date of 6-19-46, which is still almost four years after the reweigh date. This car doesn't have the second higher grab on the left side, either.

Yes, Virginia, There is a Shake n Take
Please excuse the multiple posts.
For those attending, or planning to attend, the January 2022 Prototype Rails at Cocoa Beach please be aware that there will be one of the annual Shake n Take projects presented.
We are without Greg Martin, but his friends aim to continue the tradition in his memory.
There will be a formal announcement of the project this coming Saturday evening, around 7:00 PM CST with an invitation to respond and be included.
Unfortunately, this year there were costs in obtaining some of the parts for the project and we will be asking for a $15 donation (cash or check to be delivered at the meet.) No one will be denied participation due to an inability to contribute, however.

Hi Scott, the corner braces and rest of the underframe are all scratch from styrene. For the corner braces, I made a scale copy off the general arrangement drawing and cut the braces from the paper. Next I glued them to some stryene with some Stick Glue as used for paper and crafts. It sticks well enough to hold and cut and is easily cleaned off. I then cut the braces out and then glued the flanges to the sides. I used mostly Archer rivets for the underframe to save some time. Attached are a couple of in progress photos
