I have done my best to stay out of this one but sadly here goes. The model contests and AP program were created to to help model railroaders inprove their skills. Has it been perverted or distorted,

Does anyone know what happened to the Broadway limited NYC steel boxcar project? Did
we on the list scare them off or have they engaged in major retooling?

Being more restrictive in the definition to 2 bay hoppers, class GLa
certainly comes close to being the most numerous of its type in North

I had a similar experience with UP 182500 built from a F&C kit. An AP judge
questioned why Union Pacific was spelled out on only one side of the car,
thinking I had forgotten to decal the other side.
