modelers who were selling decals. I sent an email to the Santa Fe
Historical Society to see if they could give me information

Jim.
The reason I was told, it takes too much time to look for the decals than its worth. I can understand on their part. That's a lot of decals. On our part, it hurts.

uses Prismacolor white pencils to make chalk marks. The explanation was that
decals have sharp edges, whereas real chalk marks

Re: making your own chalk marks
Hi Randy,
I've been trying Prismacolor artists' pencils from my favorite art supply store. White, pale gray, and pale yellow are good colors, and be sure to keep the points sharp.

Thanks a lot Dave! I'm always amazed at what I didn't see.
Rich Rom-e-osh's rebar load is really something.
Next time please take some photos of that N scale layout : ) I think it's the best

Anyone missing some resin kits from the Lisle meet?
Hello Group,
While helping Ted Schnepf pack up after the Lisle meet ended on Saturday afternoon, I found a bag containing five F&C bagged kits. If you can identify them, or know someone who is

Original post had two unrelated questions; the GM&N question (which concerned a "foible" model) quickly fell by the wayside.
