Fenton I have not had any problem with adherence. I always wash them thoroughly and sometimes will also go over them with denatured alcohol. Bill Welch

I've found acrylic paint over resin to be a little delicate when fresh. As soon as it's dry, I give it a shot of Clear-cote and then don't have problems. Jim
