I received mine from Walthers. The assembly is all okay, and although there are a few glue spots in exposed locations, they look like they'll disappear under flat finish and weathering. The cars'

Richard, before you confuse anyone, their is no Barber S-1A truck, that's a Barber
stabilized S-1-L truck. The "L" designates the Lateral Motion device, called out as
"Barber Rollers" by the company.

Yes. Cars that got AB brakes and corrugated doors but otherwise remained as delivered did not get power handbrakes. When some cars were later stripped of their outside sheathing and assigned to zinc
