Re: Help locating Intermountain Reefer kits
Joel,
IM kits have only been available direct from IM for several years now. While there still may be some kits floating around hobby shop shelves, train shows and eBay, hobby shops cannot (AFAIK)

Re: nice NYS&W single sheathed boxcar
I dug up the thread in the erielack mail list and discovered my error. Thanks Eric.
Disposing of the PS1s seems to have been a daft decision, not the only one in that era.

Yes, that's where the PS-1s they ordered new went, but apparently not the ex NWSW ones. Those 8 cars remain the most annoying holein LNE dospositions.

Re: nice NYS&W single sheathed boxcar
IIRC, the suggestion in an old discussion I dug up on this was that the PS1s that went to the L&NE went to the SOO ? Does that ring any bells?

I have NYSW 403-435 to MON 541-565 in 1956 and LNE9051-9058 in 1956-57. Only NYSW 401-402 remained. The mystery is, what happenedto the LNE cars when they sold off all their newer equipment a few

Tony, I second that opinion. I bought the yellow and green depotcolors
(need to get the trim brown too) as well as Daylight Red and Orange(which
is also PFE Orange) and they look perfect as well. I

Re: C&NW freight car brown color
Ya know, I saw an incredible variety of TCP "box car red" colors for
sale at the Big E train show, and I even bought a few bottles. But I
basically chose them by COLOR, not road name.
