Jeff,
Back in 1988, I purchased an HO brass PSMX chlorine tank car from MTS. I painted it as PSMX 1016 using data available at that time. As I recall, the decals came from Champ. If it is of any

Re: Per Diem and missed revenues
Would the AAR number been a reference to boxcars in exchange, knowing some cars were almost never interchanged?

Re: Pennsylvania Salt Manufacturing Chlorine car
Hi Jeff,
Yes I sure could use a photo of the car. I maybe able to help with decals also. I have a friend with an ALPS printer that may be able to print decals...let's hope.

The Pennsylvania Salt cars were black with white lettering. The cars were PSMX 1001-1033. Tanks

Re: Intriguing discovery
Tim, check RMC for Nov 2012 and you can see what I did to solve the 1937 Mt. Vernon cars with the 12 ft doors and the 10'-0" IH issue. The later cars, the 1944 Mt. Vernon cars and the 1947 Pullman

Re: Per Diem and missed revenues
What was the basis of the AAR’s conclusion that the NP should have about 20,000 cars? In January 1953 they had 36,295.
If at any given time ¾ of those cars were off line, or 27,000, did that

Per Diem and missed revenues
There wasconversation here about two weeks ago or so about per diem offsetting the costof captured cars. I recalled presenting on this about perhaps two years past. I looked back for that presentation

Bill,
Thank you for the request for the lading anchor parts from our Bethlehem gondolas. Your request has been noted, but at this point I do not have a firm answer for when we will run those
