I don’t know how common it was to mix and match, but I have seen photos of mismatched brake wheels and housings.

Wrong way doors and Indestructible ends? My guess would be LV. Maybe Erie, but they were down to five double sheathed, 36' boxcars by 1945.

Charlie -- contact Ted Culotta. I think he took over printing some of the
HO scale Protocraft decals. If it's the tall skinny letters you want I think
those are what Protocraft did.

I did before my post, they only carry diesel, passenger and one caboose set. Nothing on boxcars cars.
