Also, BR&P/B&O operated a ferry between Charlotte, NY. (Rochester) and Cobourg, Ont. until 1950. There was northbound coal traffic aboard in US hopper cars.

Unless I wanted the pattern to be permanently mounted on the mold boxbottom, I used plain white wood glue. Also used white glue to hold the boxsides on the bottom. Easy clean up and not effected by

I use MEK to solvent glue my styrene masters to the floor of the styrene mold box. If gluing resin parts to the mold box, I use CA. Of course this is a permanent bond so the master is not easily

Steve: Does FL R-74 Boxcar Red on this chart actually refer to straight Floquil boxcar red? Interesting that Speedwich suggests 50/50 with Oxide Red suggesting a less brown, more orange-red shade.

On the last batch of SP boxcars I did, I used Tru-color with good results. They have a paint labeled SP 50's boxcar red, rather on the nose.
