Bill Pardie asked what Tahoe Model Works trucks were appropriate for the pre-war ERIE 20000-20049 series cars. The RR diagram refers to "Double Truss" side frames and the car is rated at 50 tons.

contact adhesive between 2 release papers
I bought some of this on e bay and it worked great but it smelled so bad (very acrid) that I threw it all away.
Anyone have experience with this type of adhesive that doesn't smell?

forming tank car hand rails
How is this done for resin tank cars?
Would soft or half wire be better for forming the curved portions?
Yarmouth eye bolts make really nice looking hand rails on tank car sides.
