No, Mark, you didn't miss anything. I just brought in a reply to an off line query about the Bx-26 that I thought would benefit the group. The Bx-26 and Bx-27 were delivered in the pre map scheme and

The paint mix guide from RPC shows under Red Browns CB&Q Floquil 1 part #88 to 3 parts #175. Of course you can add a little grey to simulate fading.

Microscale set 87-412. It is designated as only for Chinese Red boxcars, but includes the earlier Way of the Zephyrs and Everywhere West script lettering on the top half of the sheet.

Re: CB&Q 1952 boxcar paint and decals
would order the paint for Trucolor as they have a shade for CB&Q; add some gray to illustrate oxidation. Protocraft has the decals in O; perhaps you can have them resized?

Ben,
Yes. HO scale. Sorry about leaving out the important part of the question.
Thank you for the recommendation. I had forgotten about Westerfield. Should not have done that as I do have at least one

Re: NYC USRA SS Box Car
I too have some some interest in these NYC cars but would be
happy to learn how they appeared in the 1947 - 1948 period.
Old and worn is fine but hopefully not quite so decrepit.
Cordially, Don
