Naval rifles were also re lined in Idaho and a test range existed for this purpose. Turrets were regunned at Bremerton, WA and barrels transported via

In general, Watervliet… however, hehehe… not always. A prime example was the naval 16”/50 caliber Mark 2 gun. These were manufactured for the South Dakota and Lexington classes. Most

The US Army had 16” coastal batteries at various locations (San Francisco, Galveston, Panama, for example); would those have been made at Watervliet or Washington?
