There should be a specific thinner/cleaner for that product. No doubt it is known to cause cancer in California

I know of one 3D model ready for printing, of the V-4 ventilated versions of these cars. No test prints have been made yet, but I'm confident enough of the patternmaker's skill that the car as-is

I'm away from my resources, but I recall the NMRA 1943 ORER reprint listed a decent proportion of 36-foot box cars for the C&O. They had installed about 5000 of the 1937 AAR steel-sheathed box car

Bill, it has limited weathering and you are right sinceit appears to be in the 84230-84729 series that was built in 1923 by AC&Fwith 6 foot wide Youngstown doors replacing the earlier 10 foot wide

Also note that the car still has its K-brake. Actually, I doubt if any of these cars were ever converted to AB, except perhaps for a few that ended their days in MW
