Rr-20 SEVEN door dry ice reefer
Thanks to Ted Culotta and FoFC 6 it looks like the Rr-20 class of dry ice reefers actually has seven doors, four on the R side and three on the L. I am not sure if there was a longitudinal partition

It looks as if it does have ATSF heritage in the form of an Fe-25 class, but with a raised roof? Interesting photo though.

1926 was the year of completion of the Natron Cutoff on the Shasta Division of Southern Pacific. Originally I was modeling Dunsmuir to Weed and wanted to model just before the line was completed.

Claus – Years ago when so few period cars were available I chose 1924 toallow me to use X-29 box cars from Train Miniature. More than half myfleet were TM, all the same length and height, mixed

Long ago I had considered 1929, too. But manytimber operations closer to Elkins, WV, were done by then, as were acouple of large coke operations. Coal was strong but I was looking for more
