While searching on eBay for some more Kadee Brake Wheels, I noticed there was a series listed as Part #'s 2025/3025/4025 Modern Brake Wheel
I am aware that this represents the now standard brake

Oh, for that matter, several of the ORER spreadsheets call out box cars as steel vs wood. Did Larry Osterreich (sp?) do one of these?

Thanks for the tip. I saw this listing earlier and passed on it because the title said 7’ doors. Since the bodies are for 6’ doors they will be perfect for the Wabash and AA Speedwitch

While Dick is technically correct - the AAR used the term - I don'tuse
it myself. I prefer "lateral" and I prefer"centerline" or "lengthwise"
instead of "longitudinal". Obviously freight cars
