Jim I do not have the stock car kit' however, I do have an NP reefer InterMountain kit I am building now. In this kit, Stan provided only resin sides and ends. IM roof and underframe to be used.

Re: 50' Mather stock car.
The January 1998 issue of MR had an article by Jim Teese on building a car from 2 P2K kits. The prototype shown was a Nickel Plate car photographed in May 1966. I have an almost unreadable copy

Notice the refrigerator car at the bottom of the photo. I'mguessing this was a temporary fix to allow the car to be kept in service with a perishable load:

Re: Ulrich offset triple hopper prototype
Hi Scott,
I researched this model years ago, and the only prototype I could find is the B&LE hopper.
Someone else may have unearthed another prototype.

I was recently given a nice example of the old Ulrich 3-bay hopper. It is unusual in having 12-panel offset sides. Was this design only owned by the B&LE?
