I share your challenge at the work table and to help organize tools, parts and decals, I use Westerfield, Atheran and other similar boxes with lids. The boxes are open, so if I need pliers/tweezers

Color coding does help. I have different colored handles for various knife blades and stripes on Phillips screw drivers to differentiate them from the flat bladed type.

I have found that the only really effective solution is discipline yourself. Every tool has a place and it always goes back to that place. EVERYTIME!

Funaro's resin is as unique as Sylvan's. It's all Smooth-on product.
Sylvan using a more aggressive mold release agent so as to get more mold life. Simple.

Sylvan Models vehicles are urethane resin, different from many other resin models. The mold release they use is different as well and needs a more aggressive cleaning before painting.

In my experience Baking Soda is not aggressive enough to remove paint. Great for surface prep on styrene and resin, not removing paint.

Sandblasting will not remove the mold release that I need to get off in order to paint my models. I am not removing paint, I am removing mold release. You need a solvent for that. I know that
