Re: Atlas/Branchline Sale
I was finally able to get the discount. The charge of $83 was about 1/3 the price of the selected items. Suddenly, a $10 kit becomes $13.33.......
Once again, I passed.

Re: Atlas/Branchline Sale
Weird. I tried with FOUR box cars and got $22 as the lowest shippingcharge.
No thanks.
I don't see how you could get 6 Pullmans into an express mail package for$7.
I ship stuff by USPS all the time

Re: early ORER's
Hi Tony,
If Stanford will not allow many people to touch the older ORER's and
will not make copies available what good are they to anyone?
My best, Don Valentine

Re: Atlas/Branchline Sale
I just ordered 19 boxcars for $75 and change. USPS ground postage to Sunbury, Pa. was $15.65 for a $91 plus change total. KITBASH must be in capital letters.

Online. It gave me about 5/6 choices with USPS being the cheapest. The actual cost was $7.03 for 6 Pullmans.

Re: Atlas/Branchline Sale
I was going to place an order for19 box cars. The price, after discount was $70 and some change. UPSground shipping, cheapest way, was $70.53 to Eastern NC. The shipping kindof kills the 75%

Bill, if you mean NP 10000 series, Ted covered it in his Essential Freight Cars: 4 including pictures of both ends. Would you like a copy?

I have many photos from the 1960s of box cars still with wood running boards and some had been recently
