Re: [ATSF] SFRD 50 foot wood reefer question
Stephen
John and Charlie concur that it's an Rr-37, which according to John isa
rebuild of the Rr-10. I have no basis for comparison but it does look alot
like my 8-1961 image of Rr-37 SFRD #5099.

Go to http://www.atlasrr.com/ and navigate to the Branchline cars. All freight
and passenger cars get the 75% discount with KITBASH, in caps, as the discount

Atlas/Branchline sale
I finally found the Atlas page (my previous search yielded just one car). Could somebody please send me the code for the sale price? I've lost the original message.
Yours Aye,

Re: Atlas/Branchline Sale
Not unusual for internet sites. For example many of the big box stores I order from (when I'm in N CA) think I'm only 30/40 miles from 99. They can't seem to understand that

Re: Atlas/Branchline Sale
Frankly It sounds like atlas site has errors either in its shipping table or how the weight, and size of the branchline kits are being calculated.

Re: Atlas/Branchline Sale
Since I started this thread, I went back to the Atlas site andtried again. Same story, $70.92 for 19 freight cars & $70.53UPS. I can get it next day air for 430.86. So I revised the order to7 cars.

Re: SFRD 50 foot wood reefer question
The 50 foot refrigerator car is in company ice service. Typically when a car is reclassified from revenue service into company service the reporting marks are changed from SFRD to ATSF. Interesting

Re: Atlas/Branchline Sale
My experience is the same as Jon's. The $7 postage is for USPS First class mailing for 6 cars. When I first tried it with 1 car $12.00 for Priority Mail was the lowest option.
