I don't recall precisely - I think it was during 1994. Within a shortperiod of time
Richard Hosker offered to host a mail server and that was the original"Freight Cars

Yes, I’m pretty sure that would have been Anthracite, and given the coat the official at the end is wearing, it’s pretty chilly, and a lot of that “smoke” in the later parts of the movie is

Hi,
Certainly a great video.
The clean stack could also possibly be due to the fact that this may havebeen a light engine move.

I still have hardcopy from the e-mail list you started Tim. That was the

Re: Lackawanna steam film with sound - 1929
Todd,
Search "railroads" on this site and you are going to come up with a ton of stuff, about half from the 1920s. I even noted one SP film about the Imperial Valley floods.

Hi Todd,
Thanks for posting. There are very few videos (let alone videos with sound) from the 20’s. Much appreciated and enjoyed.

When I sold my line to Tichy I withheld those I produced for Stan. I still do occasional custom work and could include any set for Stan's cars you may need

Can anyone read the chalk markings on the doors? The last on the left door is the date "12-13-64" plus "FULL". This would make some sense if it was stored mail service; load the car until it was

Hello all you 1920s modelers -
Here's a link to a March 1929 movie (outtakes, really), with sound, about Lackawanna's new Pocono 4-8-4 freight locos. It provides an interesting look at lineside
