Re: Pardon the bandwidth
A question to ask when they get here. If I get my order I may be selling or trading one or two of 130004. At $50 a car I'm hoping they are gold plated:-D!

Pardon the bandwidth
Is anyone out there selling singles of the Rapido 4-pack NP boxcars?
I’d like 2 different numbers of the 130006/130007 (NP 36” Monad 1945-1950) and 130009/130010 (NP “Main Street”

If my aging memory serves me well, Dick usually has a recent model at the Collinsville, IL RPM. They really do look like the real thing in miniature.

New photo album of freight car models
I've put together a photo album of some of my steam era freight car models. It is "Dick Scott's models" and it is on page 7 of our photo section, at least for now. The cars are all O scale and

Re: Boxcar Scars
My educated guess would be that the welds are rusting preferentially to the steel sheathing on this car, In fact, it looks to me like some repairs to the original welds were made and are rusting out

Boxcar Scars
Can anyone make an educated guess as to what was the cause of the vertical "scars" on the left side of this boxcar?

A lovely shot I thought y'all might enjoy, even though the car's
repaint date is a little too modern.
