New Company—Arrowhead: New Hopper Model
Not sure if this new model fits our time frame here because if it came after October 1955 it does not exist in my little universe but just in case: https://arrowheadmodels.com./collections/shop

Tim,
The item is not listed as in-stock at Intermountain and they have been caught in the Chinese closure mess. Check Des Plaines, Caboose, Klein and Walthers and other vendors.

When I first did the clinic, pre-wired 603s were hard to come by. Now you can buy them or 402s on ebay very inexpensively. You certainly want warm white or golden white. I use them for everything.

Re: PTC or STC?
David has said before that PTC frames from about 1912 to 1916 lookexactly like
STC underframes built beginning in 1916, when both PTC and STC changeddesigns.
It's very confusing! :-)

Re: K brake drawings for hopper cars
The USRA twin hoppers were built with KD brake equipment arranged like this. No brake diagram in the 1922 CBC, but there might be something in the 1919, which would be in the public domain.

Not all K brake installations were the same. I’ve seen photos with the K brake cylinder pointed out towards the end sill and the opposite, with the cylinder pointing towards the slope sheet.
