off list email replies
I use MS Outlook on my computer. When I want to reply to an author post offline, I first copy their email address from the original message. I hit Reply, delete the group email address, and paste in

My "fix" doesn't have anything to do with email providers, or the buttons that you can see in their interfaces. It involves going to our groups.io website and using the Messages section.

I am aware of these buttons, but they do not function as advertised with any of my email servers. (In addition to WLM and TWC/Spectrum, I also have the current MS Mail.)
