I purchase Intermountain wheels in 100 packs. Since you are replacing them all, decide now whether you want scale width or traditional width.

What Nelson meant to say was Phase I had rhe air intakes for the radiator on the sides of the hood instead of one on the ends.
The frame and step locations also were different.

Railmodel Journal Sept 1989 says RI converted 222 if those outside braced gons into piggy flats. Doesn't say when, but the pic with that article says "circa 1962"
